Gugulethu Sophia Mbatha, better known as Gugu Mbatha-Raw is known as a British stage and film actor who gained popularity after she was a part of the 'Doctor Who' (a British science-fiction TV show) series aired on the BBC channel. Gugu made a splash in fame by appearing as Tish Jones, who was the younger sister of a prominent character named Martha Jones, in the television series. Gugu's viewers loved her spontaneity and she was well in the process of establishing an extensive acting career. The actress also appeared on other British stage and TV productions. She is critically acclaimed for her outstanding performance in "Belle," (2013) in a British period drama, and "Beyond The Lights," (2014) the romantic drama. Additionally, in American productions, she's appeared on TV series like "Undercover" and "Touch", as well as in Tom Hanks' comedy film "Larry Crowne". Gugu Mbatha Raw appeared in the play "Nell Gwynn" written by Jessica Swale as an actress and also as the mistress to the king Charles II. There was a great deal of praise from critics that were extremely pleased with the acting abilities of her and then got nominated for the prestigious 'Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best actress. A great recognition for her services to the theatre, Gugu was named a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) by Queen Elizabeth II.
Chelsea Joy Handler is a New Jersey native born in Livingston on the 25th February in 1975. She was one of the youngest six children. Handler was the daughter of a car salesman and a housewife. Her mother was the daughter of a German native who moved to her home in United States in 1958. Breast cancer was discovered in the year 1989. She died ten year following her battle with cancer. Handler's dad is Jewish and she grew up in Reform Judaism. Handler was born in a safe neighborhood and enjoyed her childhood. When she was in her early 20s Handler moved from the city of her birth to Los Angeles in order to follow her dream of acting. To support herself, Handler began to work as an actress. Handler was able to perform stand-up comics full-time once she reached the age of 21. She had discovered that she was gifted with storytelling. Handler started her stand-up career on the Oxygen Network's Girls Behaving Poorly which was a reality program with concealed cameras and practical jokes. It was in air from 2002 until 2005. The handler appeared in other programs, including Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler began her journey as a correspondent on The Tonight Show. Handler's big break came in the year 2006, after she started hosting her own show on E! It was titled The Chelsea Show. It ran for two seasons. Handler participated in the comedy channel's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour the next time in the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend and HBO have been able to broadcast the stand-up comedian's performances. It was announced in the year 2010 that she will be hosting MTV's Video Music Awards in 2010. MTV Video Music Awards 2010. She was the second female host ever to do so, after Roseanne.
